A mode is a certain kind of working state TARGET 3001! can achieve. In TARGET 3001! first select the mode like "Place a fiducial" or "Draw a track", then press key [o] (not a zero) for setting the options of the mode selected. Then hover the mouse to the location on your canvas where the action shall take place.
