The operation of TARGET 3001! mainly is carried out by the graphical user interface

Define presettings, which are applied anytime TARGET 3001! is started. Define defaults, for immediate load. Use the x-ray mode for inspection of your layout in translucent view (= quickdraw, drawing of the outlines only). Get access to any drawn element with key s - for "select".

An important tool for the handling of the components is the Library Browser. Use it for the storage and administration of components, and the libraries they are taken from. Modification of existing components and the drawing of new (custom) components are managed here. Create your own components according to data sheets, create a simulation model as well as a 3D - model. Use the library browser also when you intend to import a component's symbol to the schematic or it's package to the layout. Numerous automatic functions and assistants will ease your work.
