NOTE: The procedure described below is OUTDATED
In the current version of TARGET 3001! Eagle project files are imported only in XML format.
Please have a look here what to do: Open an Eagle project
General
TARGET 3001! is able to import Eagle* files and Eagle* libraries. If you wish to convert only an Eagle* board file e.g. to use the TARGET 3001! milling tool for milling a board, we recommend just to save only the Eagle *.brd file into a separate directory to use it with the ulp-program.

Convert Eagle* schematic and board files to a *.t3001 file

Copy file Eagle3.ulp or Eagle4.ulp or Eagle4-1.ulp (according to your Eagle version) into the Eagle directory "ulp" |
|
Start Eagle and open an Eagle schematic you wish to convert.
Enter "run eagle*.ulp" to the command line. * represents your version number. This converter creates automatically a text file in ASCII format (*.TXT) and saves it to the same directory the Eagle schematic was taken from. |
|
Start in TARGET in menu "File / Input-Output Formats" the driver "ASCII-IO-Interface". |
|
Click in the opened dialogue on button "OPEN".
Now a window opens for to choose the desired project. Set in "File Type" (extension) "TARGET-Texts (*.TXT)". Choose in "File name" the desired ASCII-TXT file. |

REMARK: In TARGET 3001! all component names need to have a prefix and a number (e.g. IC5, R3, ...)! Please rename in Eagle, if needed. |
Example: An error is shown in a component line. The parameters are devided by a vertical slash. Prefix is parameter #9. Number is parameter #14. This example has the component name "left" - No number. Help: rename the component in Eagle to "Left1". |
In the mentioned directory a file named "singlesided .T3001" has been generated. |
|
Open in TARGET the new converted project. | ...sorry for not showing english Windows dialogs. |
