Cable

Add cable properties to signals by the use of this tool. Later you might add those data to a bill of material. A cable always ends in a clamp so that the end of a cable always is a component which must have the property "IS_CLAMP". The following example shows the PIC.t3001 project having the components K3 and IC3 defined as clamps. Doubleclick each of the components and use the "Properties" button in the dialog. We enter to the neighboured column value TRUE as shown in the dialog. The aim is to define the connecting signal "IN" as a cable.

After you had assigned the mentioned property to both of the components, please hover the mouse to the signal IN and enter key "w" for opening the cable information dialog.
