Moving the cursor in schematic or layout to a certain spot a little info box (tooltip) appears. It gives information on all objects which are located at cursor position, helpful if they are superposed to each other. Soldering pads show the pin name (=function)<br><br>

Moving the cursor in schematic or layout to a certain spot a little info box (tooltip) appears. It gives information on all objects which are located at cursor position, helpful if they are superposed to each other. Soldering pads show the pin name (=function)

If you hover the cursor to a spot and remain: From how many milliseconds the tooltip appears and after how many milliseconds it vanishes again can be set in menu "Settings / Settings (INI File...)"

If you set the value for "Tooltips active" from "Yes" to "No", the tooltip function is switched off.

Alternatively, please have a look at the sidebar to the right. If the ...Info button is gray, the function is activated. A click M2 on the button allows settings of this function. If it is flat-black, the function is switched off.
