Since 2002 TOYOTA joins the formula one with a racing car developed in Cologne/Germany. The TOYOTA development engineers trust in TARGET 3001! design station, the powerful software for professional PCB design. The entire plan of all cable harnesses of the car is created using TARGET 3001!. For testing the electromagnetical compatibility and the signal integrity of the wires the electrical performance of the car is completely simulated. The simulation electronics is developed using TARGET 3001! as well. It also manages the data transfer to the manufacturers of the harnesses and generates the programs for automized wire testing.

Ian Matt, TOYOTA Motorsport GmbH electronics development engineer, gives his expert opinion: "TARGET 3001! is a very comfortable software, it is easy to learn. It can be used intuitively. We had no problems at all." Gunnar Lerch, TOYOTA Motorsport GmbH electronics development engineer adds:"The support by Ing.-Buero Friedrich during the project is outstanding."
