Component names and values to the handle
A function from the "Actions" menu in schematic view and in the layout view (Actions/Special Functions).
Component name and/or value of a selected part (or several selected parts) are superimposed on the handle cross. This function is used for order and overview in schematic and layout.
In tight designs it can happen that when moving a component its name and/or value remains in place because it was not marked. You can then easily lose track of which name or value belongs to which part. With this function they are brought together unambiguously. Since they are now on top of each other at the handle cross position, hover the cursor there and press the [s] key for select several times if necessary to mark the desired lettering and realign it. By holding down the left mouse button you can move the selected text, while simultaneously pressing the right mouse button you can rotate it.
In case you earlier would have deleted the parts name or value with [Del], you can show it again by double-clicking on the handle cross of the part and entering to the dialog box.
