A customer has informed us that the program RunAsDate can prevent your old TARGET V11 from becoming entangled with the operating system. Please start TARGET using the program RunAsDate:

Download at CHIP

This sets the date exclusively for the obsolete TARGET, e.g. to 1 April 2020. If you save projects, they will still get the current date. According to customer feedback, TARGET should continue to run without problems. However, we give no guarantee, because we have no executable V11 for testing and we cannot generate a V11 anymore.

In 2008 a customer had pointed out the problem to us when the date had been set very far into the future. According to the logbook this problem was solved on 05.02.2008 in V13.3.0.166 and to our knowledge also retroactively in V12.

"Invalid AT interrupt time" came at that time from the PC-AT of IBM and ancient TARGETs unfortunately get stuck with the operating system. The error message is apparently even in Windows 10 still appearing:

Current Google references

Conclusion: So the ancient TARGETs of more than 15 years ago are still running today with help and compatibility modes! You can still send the saved project files *.T3001 to nearly all European board manufacturers without any problems and even open current T3001 files with it (backwards compatibility).
