Remove groundplane islands

Islands in ground planes, orphan ground fragments occur, when parts of a ground plane get isolated from the main ground plane by it's surrounding signal tracks.
Those ground plane islands can have the electrical effect of a capacitor and might cause unwanted effects in respect to electromagnetic compatibility. In the layout those fragments thus should be removed (Rubout). In TARGET 3001! again start the ground plane assistant (Menu "Actions/Ground planes/Generate ground plane) and within the dialog tick the tab: "Convert ground plane into lines".
If you don't want to have a gridded ground plane but a solid one, select from the dialog a "Line spacing" of zero and tick the box: "Remove islands". Press the start button and you will receive for example this:
