From version V15 components are organized in a component database. Please have a look here.
The following information is outdated.
Important note: From version V12 only five libraries had been delivered for local installation. We called them the "standard libraries". They have the following name/contents:
- Standard.SYM3001: Symbol library with currently about 1500 commonly used component symbols
- Standard.PCK3001: Package library with currently about 320 matching component packages
- Target.REF3001: Reference symbols
- Simulation.SYM3001: Model library for the simulation tool
- Frontpanel.PCK3001: Library of milling figures for frontpaneldesign
The TARGET 3001! setup installs those five "standard"-libraries as follows:
- with Win 98/2000/ME/NT: C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Application Data\ibf\TarVX\edition\LIBS
- with Win XP and Vista: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ibf\TarVX\edition\LIBS
The free licenses keep the standard libraries also. We made a great effort to answer the question: "which components deserve the name: commonly used?" To figure that out we examined some thousand customer projects regarding the use of components. That means TARGET 3001! has a pool of about 1.500 permanently watched components. Besides a detailed discription each of them has a simulation model, a 3D-model and links to different distributor's shops inclucing the datasheet link.
