Windows error 1114 can occur when starting TARGET or when viewing OpenGL graphics (e. g. in the component browser).
Error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed
You can first try to update the graphics drivers and the OpenGL driver. The error seems to be often related to energy saving measures of the graphics card.
There is a lot of help on the web for this error. Many users report that everything runs when the graphics card is set to high performance (maximum performance). To do this, go to the Windows Control Panel to the Energy options and there to Energy Saving Plan/Settings and there to Extended Energy Settings. If you have the option Configure graphics, please set everything to high performance. See also:
