Execute as Administrator

Error message "Failed writing file!"

Sometimes it is necessary to start TARGET 3001! with administrator rights. Sometimes it is needed if you want to update some files or the program automatically. Under Windows XP you normally have to logoff the current user and login again as admin. If you are not allowed to login as admin, you need a person allowed to (system administrator).

Since Windows Vista often this is not necessary, you can possibly start single programs with admin rights:

Click the TARGET 3001! icon on the desktop using the right mouse key. Then select menu option "Execute as Administrator". Starting TARGET 3001! with admin rights allows a "Updater.exe" being saved to the TARGET program directory besides the tarv15.exe. Now and in future TARGET 3001! can do updates without admin rights.
