In most cases alphanumerical names in BGAs or connectors: A1, A2,...A10, B1, B2, etc. They are numbered internally with respect to the name, for example: the pads named A1 to A10 get the numbers 1 to 10, the pads named B1 to B10 get numbers 11 to 20 and so on.<br /> <br /> It is often useful to have those [[pad]] names displayed in the [[schematic]] too.
