New in V15
DOWNLOAD TARGET 3001! discover V15 isn't distributed anymore. All V15 features are part of V16 as well. |
Component Database: - assign any parameter to any component - database performance - find components by parameters - duplicate/modify components directly within the database - no diversion by schematic/PCB - create any component listing. Video on this topic...
Assembly Service in cooperation with PCB-POOL(R) - calculate the assembly of your board - define where to purchase the parts - use standard parts from PCB-Pool(R) stock - add any own parts for assembly (welcome in a bag) - select various distributors for procurement of the parts used - automatic assembly from one(!) piece of PCB.
Reverse Engineering: - In edition "design station" - Create a new layout from old, defective, non documented PCB - your large technical device lying idle because of defective PCB? - OEM no longer on the market? - service provider/subcontractor not to be found? - No documentation at all available, not to mention CAD data? - Create a schematic from your PCB using TARGET 3001! - Create a new layout from the schematic and so generate a clone of your old board
Autorouting: - ELECTRA autorouter 250 Pin version embedded to all TARGET 3001! editions - no time limitations - all functions active - NOTE: Not continued with V20 onward!
Capture polygonal: - Capture and highlight elements/areas by polygon clicked catch window
Lead free soldering: - sharp corners often create solder balls when lead free soldered - those balls, when loose, often cause trouble elsewhere on the board - Rounding of pad corners eases lead free soldering by avoiding those balls
Groundplane creation: - Groundplane areas can directly be connected - The groundplanes in TARGET 3001! now "hand over" the signal. - The air wires vanish while the tracks needn't be routed through the groundplane. (NOTE: By a visual check of your groundplane make sure that you don't create unconnected ground islands!).
Manual groundplane creation: - Groundplane polygon with automatic assignment of auras - signal tracks having the same signal names as the groundplane automatically get aura=0 within the groundplane which means they get connected - Externally of the plane the aura remains untouched - signal tracks with a signal name different to the groundplane automatically get an aura when running through the groundplane, thus get isolated - externally of the groundplane the auras remain untouched
Schematic: - signal nets having the same name but being not yet connected properly get a purple air wire for recognition
. | Selection of elements: Different planes having the same signal can be selected by one click if they are clinging together |
. | DXF Import: A sequence of lines not having a signal (like an outline of a board) can be selected together by one click |
