Circuit is a generic term for the schematic and PCB. In TARGET 3001! both will be saved in one file having the extension (*.T3001). It is possible to have a couple of projects open in TARGET 3001! with one or more open windows of each project. To edit one of them you simply toggle between a project's schematic- and PCB window with a single key [F3]. In case you had highlighted a certain element in the schematic, it will be highlighted in the layout when pressing [F3] and vice versa.
